Saturday the 11th: Berry Patch Quilt Art Expo and Appraisal Fair 9:00AM @ Historic Dowtown Ponchatoula • Visit the Official Website The BerryPatch Quilt & Art Expo in Ponchatoula, LA will take place on Saturday. Local artist will show there works at local shops in the downtown area. Hundreds of quilts will be displayed outdoors on the buildings of downtown Ponchatoula . Antique and fragile quilts along with demonstrations, lectures and a fashion show will be indoors. Admission is $6. Free Shuttle to and from downtown. The Kidz Kwilt Korner will be by the alligator cage at the Country Market. It will be a delightful day full of sights, activities, antique shopping and dining opportunities. What is it what is it worth bring your treasures in and appraisers will be available for a small fee to appraise your items. Saturday the 11th: Ponchatoula Antique Appraisal Fair 9:00AM @ Behind the Country Market What is it? What is it worth? Those are the questions many people have about their treasures. Whether heirlooms that were past down or a piece of the past you picked up at an estate sale. Come visit us on October 11th from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm for Ponchatoula’s own mini version of the Antiques Road Show. Saturday the 18th: Ponchatoula Party in the Pits 11:00AM @ Downtown Ponchatoula Ponchatoula’s Party in the Pits Presented by the Ponchatoula Chamber of Commerce Come watch over 20 IBCA professionals and local teams as they cook some great bbq and compete for over $5000 in cash and prizes. Date: Saturday, October 18 Place: downtown Ponchatoula Time: teams start cooking early! The City and the Ponchatoula Chamber of Commerce are looking forward to another beautiful celebration to begin the Christmas season.
