Dr. Amber Narro is a Professor of Communication and a multi-media communication specialist. She earned her B.A. in Communication and M.A. in Organizational Communication from Southeastern and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Ph.D. in Mass Communication.
Active in the community, she has held positions on the Boards of Directors for the Tangipahoa Chamber and Northshore Ginger Ford Fuller Center for Housing. She is most proud of her work on the Board of Directors for Options, Inc., an organization that helps those with disabilities live and work in the community. She has been a member of Southeastern’s faculty since 2007 and hosts a local radio talk show, Gettin’ Things Done, during which she interviews nonprofit organization leaders and those who work hard to build and grow the community.
Ambers organizational skills and love for networking is such a wonderful asset to the Ponchatoula Chamber and we are thrilled to have her on the Board of Directors.
Whether a new business, church, or retail store, The Ponchatoula Chamber loves celebrating you by hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. This is a great way for the new entity to gain excellent exposure through a press release and celebrate the accomplishment the opening of their doors makes.
Also open to the public, the ribbon-cutting ceremony is a great way for the community to be informed of the business structure and how their mission will serve the community.
If you are a new business and would like to schedule your Ribbon Cutting, please contact us here.
