After serving in the Marine Corps and obtaining his degree in Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management, Brandon Phares led the hospitality industry as an operations manager at various Northshore hotels. Then, in 2016, he was asked to join and assist in running the family business, Sherman’s Glass where they install automotive, residential, and commercial glass. Brandon oversees the daily operations of the front office & shop, and is directly responsible for inventory management, accounting, payroll, and the development & implementation of the companies’ budget while also ensuring customer satisfaction and managing social media.

He joined the Ponchatoula Chamber of Commerce to become more involved in the local business community and to be a voice for businesses on and off the main street. He hopes to help his fellow small business owners by connecting them with the best resources to enable their companies to thrive whether that’s through educational/informational meetings, bringing them together with other local vendors, socializing with the locals, and networking with local business leaders and government officials.

Brandon brings a unique and methodical approach to the Chamber. He loves learning and is always up for any challenge. Like a Marine he continues to lead from the front, assisting with process development and continuous training.
